Nashville is definitely experiencing growing pains, but its eccentric style and booming real estate values make it an attractive option for relocation. And according to the Nashville Chamber of Commerce, almost 100 people are moving into town a day. And I’ve got some insight as to why!

Despite an influx of newcomers, Nashville retains a gorgeous, truly Southern small town feel and still takes pride in its hipsters, breweries, bike-friendliness, and general fun, relaxed atmosphere. Even many media outlets have caught on to Nashville’s laid back artsy lifestyle, like in the popular television show ‘Nashville’, but prospective movers are beginning to see it as more than just a “music” place.

Nashville has a lot to offer within city limits, from nationally-award winning restaurants and museums to dozens of great music venues. Downtown, at the Gulch and Germantown, is always a great destination for shopping and nightlife, what really makes Nashville thrive are its many neighborhoods, each with an individual downtown-like the East Nashville community with growing retail and restaurant offerings.

And Nashville’s craft beer, coffee, and food scenes are all absolutely blowing up. Nashville is a millennial’s Mecca. And there’s more than just an appreciation for food and drink. Nashville is great because there’s literally something for everyone, no matter where you are in your life or career. And if you like the outdoors? There’s mountains, waterfalls, farms, vineyards, rivers, and hiking trails all within a short drive… and some nestled right against some of it’s popular neighborhoods.
