New restaurants are opening up all the time in Nashville, and a lot of amazing venues change their menu every season! It can be hard to keep up with all the new happenings in Nashville’s growing food scene– so I hunted down and have a list of some of the better new restaurants that have opened recently!

bajoBajo Sexto

Bajo Sexto’s second location is now open at 5303 Charlotte Ave in West Nashville. Nice little taco place right next to the country music hall of fame in downtown. Nothing fancy and not your cookie cutter taco chain. It’s a testament to the success of their first, smaller location.

The Valentine

The Valentine is a new four-story bar located on Nashville’s Lower Broadway. The Valentine Nashville is the newest bar/restaurant concept to hit world famous Lower Broad! Located at 312 Broadway, The Valentine is a 4-story upscale saloon that features an expansive rooftop patio and multiple dedicated private event spaces. Travel back in time with us to the 1920’s and 30’s prohibition era and experience something like Nashville has never seen.

Nashville Craft

A new craft distillery called Nashville Craft is now open at 514 Hagen St. in Nashville’s Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood. Former DNA laboratory director Bruce Boeko is putting his science background to work in a new setting, opening Nashville Craft with a focus on local and regional ingredients and resources. The distillery has been in operation since March in the Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood near downtown Nashville. Opened to the public on Tuesday, May 24, 2016, Nashville Craft is producing whiskey and other craft spirits, and features a tasting room and tours.

Bastion

Josh Habiger has opened a 24-seat restaurant! Bastion aims to be a comfortable meeting place for the neighborhood’s artists and entrepreneurs, as well as a spot for people looking to unwind and hang out with friends. Another Wedgewood-Houston staple, it’s absolutely ADORABLE, and nice-casual!
